Kapiti Rest Home is a beautiful retreat for the elderly with breathtaking ocean views, friendly caring staff, good food and plenty of laughter.

We pride ourselves on our homely feel. The residents whom we call "our family" receive the best possible care in an idyllic setting with plenty of daily activities to keep them mentally and physically active for as long as possible.

We believe in encouraging independance which is why our staff continuously receive special training in assisting rather than taking over our residents lives. They are there to compliment and work with the residents in order to help them achieve a level of independance so often lost at later age.

We are enthusiastic about "our family" and have an open book policy regarding the care of residents and the sharing of information with family members and loved ones.
